Welcome
to

a Michigan home performance company empowering families toward healthier and safer living.

Over half of Michigan homes have moisture buildup and poor ventilation that can cause the growth of toxic mold and poisonous concentrations of radon gas. These issues can lead to a range of problems and serious health issues including: lung cancer, asthma, allergies, or recurring headaches.

The good news is, most homes in Michigan have solvable performance and safety issues. You can be free from mold, moisture, dust, and radon, free from a drafty house that’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter, and freedom from energy waste and high utility bills.

Do you remember the last time you had a home safety inspection and radon test?

What you do speaks so loudly I can't hear what you say.

We operate in an industry where trust needs to be earned, and homeowners and families are skeptical that they are getting what they want and need over what is being presented to them. Our objective is to ascertain whether you have any issues, and what your goals are; then helping you achieve them.

Home health problems are invasive, cumulative, and won't go away by themselves. The Snug Home Program is here to serve your family and walk you through the whole process; from checking for problems that create a toxic environment, through to helping you with resources to fix the problem, all as an organization that's on YOUR side.

The process can be divided into 4 parts:

We inspect

We Diagnose

We Connect You to Solutions

We Guarantee the Quality
No-Cost Certified Inspection ($300 value)
Our in-house Certified Home Inspector conducts a thermal scan, radon testing and a detailed visual inspection of the five key systems of your home with the aim of giving you a clear understanding of the health and safety risks for your family directly related to your home’s performance as well as the rewards for taking action.
Diagnose root causes
Our team of Certified Building Scientists will be able to give you an understanding of any critical priorities that exist in your home.
Connect you with resources to solve the problem permanently
Once any areas that are hazardous to your family have been identified, we give you a clear pathway to solutions by showing you what work should be done to reduce the toxins in your home.
Lastly, we verify that work done was right by testing the project after it is completed.
We are providing services ourselves, or are partnered with certain vetted contractors for some projects - we can guarantee the work, and if it didn’t deliver, we correct the issues ourselves, so you don’t have to.
We’re here to help build safe communities. We have the pleasure of partnering with local contractors and municipalities to cooperatively address home safety while bolstering local business.

What is Snug Home?
Snug Home is an organization made up of home performance experts with the goal of making sure you and your family are safe and healthy in your home.

As a program we are dedicated to four principles in all our actions and business practices:

Solid Ethics

We carefully consider our actions and how they affect the community and our partners. We do what we can to be moral in our decision making; we want to enact a positive change while being good to everyone included in the process.

Unparalleled Quality

We do all we can to ensure the highest quality work possible. We are data and research driven, and we will always mold our process with new data to what works best for all parties involved.

Steadfast Unity

We work in solidarity with the communities we service by providing business to local contractors, operating job skills programs, and working together with local municipalities, health, and fire departments to ensure cooperation with the city.

Candid Dialogue

Everyone is entitled to a view and a voice, including you. As an organization we strive to have candid communication between all parties, especially our clients, to stay accountable and connected. We make sure to tackle any issues that come up directly, so that we can work through them with quality and transparency.

Above all, Snug Home is a team of experts whose only goal is supporting your family and the health and safety thereof. Throughout the home performance process, we will work together to make sure you have everything you need, including connecting you to professionals who can fix the problems, and advocating on your behalf. We’re also building programs to aid disadvantaged communities with job training, to provide the entry level positions in order to have experience to enter the job market.
